I just keep thing about this.   Wallace was looking at two rookies he liked.  He kept Mayo and gave away Love.

We remember the last time he had such a choice.  He gave away Johnson and kept Brown.   :o

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I think Chris Wallace is the equivelent of Kevin McHale for memphis fans. Its not that this is a terrible trade, Mike Miller was going to have to go anyways, but I mean while before Chris Wallace took on Mayo fans probably thought he was a really good player with a ton of potential, now that Chris Wallace acquired him, obviously he's a bust. Not because he's a bad player in himself, but because Chris Wallace acquired him.

Also, keeping in mind that its Mchale and wallace making this trade, is it possible that the trade really really hurts both teams? I mean it wouldn't be a mchale/wallace move if it didn't, right?

much like what is happening in NJ, I think Wallace is under strict orders to reduce payroll.
