Have a gut feeling that the Blazers will take Faried... hope I'm wrong though. Surprised Marshon Brooks is still around, though. Maybe they'll take him

Big swing pick

Awwwww gawd ........ awful pick by Seattle. Horrific. Westbrook. Terrible.

I'm devastated for Kevin Durant. He'll have his second straight year of having the most limited teammates as his supporting cast.
Oh wow, it's so surprising that some of you guys wanted to trade Rondo for Westbrook but your first impression of him was awful.

How did you go about digging up a thread that is 3 years old and not realize it?

Not trying to be mean, but it is funny and interesting.

Yep, way off base on Westbrook.

Talk about a player who's talents where hidden by the offensive system he played in college. I had no idea he'd be the type of threat he clearly is / was in the pick and roll in the NBA. He never got the opportunity to show that at UCLA.

First day of summer league in Orlando and you could see all of that talent.

Was it Miami that nabbed Chalmers in the end?

That's a nice piece of business for them. Chalmers could be a starting point guard next to a ball-happy playmaking two guard like Wade. With his shooting ability and defense I can see him starting for Miami next season.

That's a nice start - Chalmers/Wade/Marion/Beasley - all can shoot, dribble, drive. That'll be tough to defend against. Now they need to find themselves a competent center.

3 years and 2 superstars later and still looking for that competent center, heh
