I am basing this on nothing but a stupid hunch I have had for the past few days
(no, not Marty Feldman!!)

Much the manner of Red in the later rounds, I think that at a minimum, when the Celtics summer camp convenes we will see Patrick Ewing Jr. in camp as either the last pick in the 2nd round or a free agent invitee.  Doc's son played with him for two years and he was born in Boston.

Just a hunch.
I love my kids, call me a sap - it's true.

I wouldn't mind Patrick Ewing Jr. He's an interesting young player.

I miss the days of publicity picks in the very late rounds, like the Bulls picking Carl Lewis in the 10th round of the '84 draft.

It's not like the 60th pick ever becomes anything*.

The Celtics should pick someone from another sport that would fit in well with their defense, like Wilfork.

*sure there are Manu and a few other success stories, but only a handful in  the past 25 years.

You'd have better odds (and a much greater reward if successful) trying to predict tonight's Massachusetts state lottery number.

A couple of years ago I read that Danny really liked Richard Roby.  This would be a good place to pick him up.

Yes, that would be a very nice pick at #60....
Any guess about what time the Cs will be picking at #30?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I'm predicting we pick a euro player who we can leave overseas and forget about...

Although, I really like JR Gidden who probably won't be there that late.
