I would like to know the what all of the people here on celticsblog think, so I made a poll, what do you think the celts will do if these players are available at 30?

Where do I write in Jason Thompson?  Out of this list I went with CDR, however I don't think he is going to fall to 30.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I really think this draft is about trying to keep Posey and maybe House, not trying to add something unless it's dirt cheap. Basically Pruitt, and to a lesser extent Big Baby are this year's picks and here's why.

With the 30th pick since that's the last guaranteed big money pick and since DA says he is considering about 23 players I would expect DA to try hard to move down up to 23 picks, and try to get something for the future.  I think he will try to get a Euro he can stash cause he's up against the luxury tax and  he needs money badly to try to bring back Posey, and maybe House. So unless the player is phenomenal I think he'll move down. Even if it's just 5 slots or so for almost nothing, cause then he might still get the player anyway.

DA said in the Herald today that the 60th pick has never made the league. I think he's basically right.  I think the last guy who was the last pick who made the league was Georgetown guy Don Reid who was okish, but I think he might have been before the Raps and Griz making him 56th.

Therefore if DA can move the 60th pick for anything at all, like money or a future draft pick he will.
Otherwise expect a Ben Pepper type guy

None of the above

I think they should go after the best available player
but lean towards the big men

this draft is very deep and getting a quality big men is harder than getting a sg or sf

sg or sf can be easily filled in Free agency so....

I think Danny will trade either up or down if he feels a player he wants a lot has slipped. I think that they will not go below pick #20. there is a possibility of their main guy being picked and they want to trade a bit  down to aquire another pick. they might include their #60 who knows.

I want them to Go for one of the following

 #1   Alexis Ajinca 7-0 216 PF/C France 1988
 #2     Serge Ibaka 6-10 228 PF Congo 1989
#3       DeVon Hardin 6-11 235 PF California Sr.

on the websites they have the celts taking Devon Hardin

tell me what you guys think and I think what the C's are looking for is theses 4 things

#1 Defense
#2 big man
#3 being able to send that player off shore for 1-2 years

just to tell you guys I got my username 3 years ago.

I had confidence in him to pick great players out of the draft. you should too.
