we now have 6 teams dipping twice - Portland (13 and 27), Charlotte (9 and 20), Seattle (4 and 24), Indiana (11 and 17), New Jersey (10 and 21) and Memphis (5 and 28).

to me this means two things:

1) there could be a lot of movement on draft night (a la the Knicks deal with Memphis or the Miami deal with well a bunch of teams Seattle, Memphis, etc.looking to land Beasley)

2) teams are looking at all these big men prospects and are enticed, but don't want taking one of them to be there only pick, but also don't want to pass on them either.

this could be good news for the Thompsons, Jordan's, Hibbert's, McGee's, Speights of this draft because GMs don't like passing up on legit big men/Center prospects.

I'm curious to see what Portland does.  They have five picks, including #13, #27, #33, and #36.  They certainly have the pieces to move up, if they so choose.

I don't see the incentive to trade down in this draft with so many unknowns.

and #55....yeah, they have to do something....that was one of things that led me to the Cs taking Tomic. they could easily part with picks to get him if they want him.

but Pritchard is a smart GM...

very interested to see how it plays out.

It will be difficult for my home team the Charlotte Tarcats to draft someone without lots of UNC players coming out. It's the only college they look at.

Here's an idea for what Portland may end up doing...

"The Blazers would send the 13th and 33rd picks (for the 10th pick) in Thursday’s draft, along with guard Jarrett Jack, to the Nets. New Jersey also would send guard Trenton Hassell to the Blazers."

Supposedly it would be to draft D.J. Augustin who I'm not completely sold on.
