Center: 1. Duncan 2. Ming 3. Howard
special consideration for our guy perk , he is in top 10 in my books

Power Forward: 1. KG 2. Boozer 3. Gasol

Small Fowrd : 1. Lebron James 2. Paul Pierce 3. David West

Shooting guard: 1. Kobe Bryant 2.Dwayne Wade 3. Rip Hamilton/Ray Allen

Point Guard: 1. Chris Paul 2. Deron Williams 3. Rajon Rondo

I'am heavily biased towards players who actually got nearer to the finals this year. Maybe billups should be #3 but rondo is definitely then #4. I like to put amare for #3 power forward but he hasn't done much in his career regards to getting anywhere far in the playoffs. Even though gasol got outplayed by garnett he was still decent

Almost all of our starters cept perk is top 3 in each position in my books

whats your top three in each position as of right now

I think Rondo should become an All-Star with a bit of improvement, and the fact that no one in the East really stands out other than Billups (who isn't exactly that good either).

Jason Kidd was traded, and I think you can't have an All Star roster full of 2-guards.. Top 3 point guard I'm not so sure, but the publicity this year in the finals etc. certainly helps him to become more well-known.

how about steve nash, or arenas, or tony parker, or baron davis in your top 3 PG???? I'm pretty sure they are all ahead of rondo at this point in their respective careers. How about iverson as a PG or SG? I'd rather have Dirk over gasol any day as well

I love Rondo but I must agree with you. Don't know if I'd take "practice?" A.I over him however.

nash?? you got to be kidding me. I have officially placed him as a globe trotter but not a overall good pg. His defense is so average. Arenas aint not pg, his defense is very suspect also.

I forgot a little about tony parker. But rondo played very well against him this year .

Because of rondo's defense i'd take him over parker, cmon

lastly nowitski hasn't done much the past two years. Horrific losses. He is not really a pf either. Think about it, he is not around the post long to grab rebounds. Gasol was a decent inside presence as we saw defensively and offesnvily

Putting Rondo anywhere near that list is a joke. I love the guy, but talk to me again in three years about him. I mean come on - there's no way you actually think he's better than Parker or Nash...

Eddie House - for THREEEEEEE!

does nash play any good defense?? is parker better than rondo in defense?? rondo is the best defensive pg right now and in overall factor with his progressing offense(i mean he is above average, most smart teams rather have him than nash)

nash is good on offense but how about defense?

Last time I checked (which was about 2 seconds ago) Dirk has grabbed at least 8.6 rpg for the last 9 seasons, so he does grab rebounds. Nash still averaged 17ppg 4rpg and 11apg, how is he behind rondo, he would run the C's offense tremendously, i know he cant play much D but come on, over rondo, you have got to be kidding me.

As Mark Jackson would say...."c'mon, you're betta than that!"

West is a pf. Also, some list Duncan as a pf.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
