Does anyone think that Reggie Miller is regreting not joining the Celtics this year?

I bet he is...... I mean, he wouldn't have had to play a lot of minutes ( probably as many as PJ) and he would have gotten his championship.

Not too much.  Though Miller may not recognize it himself this team needed James Posey more than they needed him.
Yup

I hope someone is.  I'm not a fan of him or his androgynous brother.

What would his role have been this year anyway?  What was he going to do for this team except take up space?  This team was all about defense.  I'm not so sure Reggie Miller comes in and helps us out any there.  Matter of fact I don't think he brings anything to the table.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

Dan Patrick is good friends with Reggie and has him on his show pretty much every week. All year its been a running joke. Reggie was on yestarday and he said he knew the Celtics would win with him or without him. He said he has no regrets and he is psyched for his buddy KG.

I bet Reggie would have played Defense if he was on this team..... I mean, players that weren't known for defense because very good defenders this year : House, Ray Allen, Pierce

He likely is but I'm glad he didn't join us. James was a better fit.

Probably not to tell you the truth. Like him or not he's a great player who was a All Star and leader of a fairly successful team. I'm not sure if being a bench warmer who had others get him a ring would be something that would make him any more complete.
Now I'm not in any way trying to say something bad about guys who come off the bench. But you know if a guy with his reputation did it then people would bring it up.

TP for saying exactly what I was thinking - well, I was thinking "He's gotta kick somebody, he's been kicking everyone else for 18 years" - but made me laugh to see it.

Thank heavens he said no. We needed Posey much, much more than Reggie.

That being said, if we could have added Reggie also, Ray wouldn't have been abused the way he was. It was interesting how Ray played the most minutes on the team this season. We just did not have another dependable scoring 2 guard.

I think we all should be grateful he didn't come to the C's! I'm not sure we get Posey or House if he does...
Now, on to 18...
