Roy, I didn't understand your base comp statement concerning Tony Allen. I thought the base comp thing only applied if you are already signed him. If it is a sign and trade he gets higher numbers in the existing year but I thought that was OK. The issue normally is that the salary is low in the first year but much higher number ala an extension. If you have a different understanding, please explain.

Yeah!! why do we need a trade?  ???


After the KG to 7 Player trade year 2007-08 pre-season, no celtics-involved trades happened next. It only signs FA like House, Posey, Pollard etc then waived other players like D. Jones before the season starts.

I guess it will depend on Posey...  :-[
