I can only imagine how the boys in green are feeling today, but after almost two months of these late night games I am wiped.  Literally I think the last time I was this tired was the 2004 Red Sox series.

Anyone else hitting a wall?

I am so glad it's over so I can get some sleep!!   ;D

I was just thinking the same thing. Especially after staying up celebrating last night, it's an immense relief to have it finally be over with the Celts on top.

I am completely exhausted.  Between the game threads every other day and 5 hours or so of links every day and then there is the emotional drain of watching the games and cheering.  I need a break!   But it sure has been sweet!!

Man, I might as well have skipped work today.  I'm completely out of it, can't remotely concentrate.  And I love it.

I have lost so much sleep during these playoffs.  Staying up every night watching the game and then the postgame.  I'm so glad that we've won so I can sleep now.

I'm whipped and hungover.  Clothes I wore last night reek of cigar smoke.   ;D

Didn't get home from the game until 1:30ish.  (And I live about 5 miles from the Garden).

Didn't fall asleep until 4am because I was so amped.

It's definitely gonna take a few days to recover from this one.

the word that describes me best is floored. I'm just done. I'm going to rest tonight, and hopefully in the next few days my life can go back to normal. It's a bit releaving to finally not have to say, "nah man, thanks, but I'm watching the Celtics game tonight" to just about every offer out there. From Red Sox tickets, to a date with my cute neighbor, Celtics have deservedly come first.

Yep.  The hell with the players. I'm completely drained.  I've had more nights out in the last two weeks than I've had in a year prior ::)

When does the Red Sox season start? ;)
Yup

  • The shortest answer is doing the thing
I'm pretty tired but I'm much more upset that my CB name is now completely irrelevant. I can no longer post here until it gets changed to ReadyFor18.

Work has been a big struggle, as I get so worked up for these games I can't get to sleep till around 2, then get up at 6:30.  But it's finally over, and perfect timing too for my 10-day vacation starting Friday, where I will more than make up for the sleep I lost the past 2 weeks!
