I believe that this Celtics team can be considered as one of the GREAT Celtics teams of all-time!

I started to compile a list of all the records broken / tied by the 2007-2008 Celtics.  It's late and can't think of all of them right now so please feel free to add to or correct the info listed below:

*  All-Time: Biggest regular season turnaround in league history - 24 wins to 66 wins
*  All-Time: Biggest comeback in the league's Finals history - Game 4 win from a 24-point deficit
*  All-Time: Most # of steals in a Finals game
*  All-Time: Tied for most # of 3-Pointers made (Ray) in a Finals game
*  07-08 Regular Season:  Best Home Record (48-7)
*  07-08 Regular Season:  Best Road Record (18-9)
*  07-08 Best Defensive Team (Field Goal %, etc.)

That's leaving out the individual records set by Rondo with individual number of steals in a Finals game and Ray with number of three pointers in a Finals series.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

I think they said the finals steals record was 7.  Rondo had 6.

Not to mention awards for Defensive Player of the Year, and Executive of the Year.

Too bad Ray couldn't get the All-Star Game MVP..   ::)

Robert Horry owns the record. I thought it was the Knicks series but it was Game Two on Orlando's homecourt the next season.

Horry averaged 18ppg 10rpg and 4apg 3spg 2.3bpg in the Finals that season to go along with his incredible defensive performances where he shut down Dennis Scott for the entire series and played excellent help defense. His size and athleticism caused havoc for the Magic's offense.

I hope and wish (very likely to no avail, I don't think he has any chance unfortunately) that Horry makes the HoF.

I´ve tried to figure out to which thread this picture belongs, until I realized it fits into all of them.

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

this is great - can someone compile this list and put it in a neat set of 3 lists

1. All Time Records Broken
2. All Time Records tied
3. 2007-2008 Season Bests

I want to put this on the front page and I'll give you guys all the credit.  Thanks!
