I'm sure Bob Day will approve this message since IE falls somewhere between pond scum and Laker trolls on his "things I hate" list

looks like Firefox 3.0 is released and ready to download

I'm curious to see what people think of it

I don't know a single thing about 3.0 yet (going to read about it right now), but I've been a Firefox user and fan for several years and it was already infinitely superior to IE. Now I'm kind of excited to see what 3.0 has to offer...

The best advice I've ever been given on using the internet was to switch to Firefox.  I've been using it on my work computer for several years and have had zero security incidents...very few popups...no spyware...nuthin'.
Yup

Another thumbs up for Firefox here, though I've not tried 3.0 yet.

Everything seems to load faster and cleaner in Firefox compared to IE.  IE must have a helluva lot of overhead.

I actually switched to Firefox a couple of years ago when I couldn't get CSL to work properly in IE.   ;D

Agreed.  I have so many problems with IE.  It constantly shuts down on me.  I have had no problems since using Firefox.

I've been using the FFox 3 Release Candidate for some time now - it has a ton of improvements over 2.0 in terms of both features and performance, but it may take a little while to catch up w/add-ons (probably a week or so).

That said I can't download the stable version because
* Their site is flooded with requests at the moment, as they are trying to break the Guiness World Record for downloads in a day (no joke)
* In the rare event that their site is responding, it still has an old link for FFox2.0.

If anyone can provide a link for the 3.0 download it would be appreciated.
God bless and good night!

No...  I'm pretty sure he hates IE worse than both put together.

Their sites are flooded and their links are incorrect.

Being leetz0r as I am, here is the working link: http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-3.0&os=win&lang=en-US
God bless and good night!
