Eddie F. Rush is the number one villain in LakerLand.  They're going to complain that he is reffing just as much as we are that Salvatore is there.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

those are the three worst refs they could give us, no breaks for us in game 6

Replace Eddie Rush with Eddie Mauer and I'd agree with you, but they wouldn't have any ref do two games in a row.

Why is this surprising?

They just shift places from game to game in the Finals.

I would have preferred Danny Crawford instead of Joey. It's strange that Joey gets another game and Danny hasn't worked since game 1. It would go a long way to the credibility of the league if they had a set rotation that had some sort of rhyme or reason. This would at least quell speculation that they cherry pick refs for their desired outcome.

I remember Ed F Rush from a few years back when Tommy actually got in trouble for demanding that people write in to complain about him after he cost the celtics a game on the road. I remember Tommy saying " That's Ed F Rush, F for fool!" Although I agree that Eddie Mauer is not much better.

Non-issue. The Celts will be hitting shots early and often and this will be celebration time for most of the fourth quarter.

Or at least let's hope so.

The guy's name is KENNY Mauer.  Not Eddie, Not Tim.  I've seen three different first names for him in the past day.

KENNY!  ARHHHGGG
God bless and good night!

  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
Are we already finding excuses in case we dont win tonight?
 :'(
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

No excuses tonight, but its definately worth discussing that the most hated officials for each respective fanbase (Rush & Salvatore) are officiating the most important game of the season...

The league really has to clean house in its referee ranks.  I am sure none of us forget the offensive foul that good old Bennie called on the captain in Detroit.
