according to the globe, Ray Allen's daughter will be OK and Ray is expected to play tomorrow, the bad news is the team is still stuck in LA on the plane due to mechanical problems. Talk about sabotaging our chances! These guys will be dead tired tomorrow.

That bad news is huge.  They need to get here, get in their film time, get some court time, get some rest.  I'm not happy about this.  COuldn't they have rented a large airplane and flown home by now?  They were supposed to leave last night, correct?

It will be fine. Most team planes are like 5 star hotels these days. There could be worse to overcome.

If they take off now, they aren't back in Boston until 11PM, and they've been on west coast time for over a week now.  This is not "no big deal."

I hope they've got a half court in there with a hoop, and some high quality physical therapy equipment! You never know. At least they can watch some game film without distractions

Not good.

It short changes rest.  It short changes prep time,

And most of all, it delays the work they need to do on injuries.  Aren't they still waiting to check Perk's shoulder?

Private jets these days have spas and bars and everything. You can be assured that a professional sports team worth hundreds of millions of dollars has the amenities to accommodate the team.

They can sleep on the plane also.

I'm pretty sure they aren't flying back in a crop duster.

they might as well just play game 6 in LA, that'd be fair right?
