And we woulnd't have won game 5 since it was on the 15th ( which is for the Lakers number of championships)

Also, did anyone notice that during the ECF ceremony, that #17 John Havlicek was there to accept the trophy?

Man, livermaniac, you just jinxed yourself, how is anybody supposed to give you another Tommy Point now?

And how about this one, if the C's really put a whooping on the Lakers and score 135 points tonight, they'll have scored a total of 617 points for the series.  I know it's a stretch, especially since the most most we've scored in the playoffs this year is 110 (and that was against Atlanta) and we're not in the 1980's anymore, but a guy can dream can't he...

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Each extra Tommy point after 17 will be indicative of FUTURE Celtics championships!

6 and 17. Hmmm. I can't think of anything.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I think the two biggest omens are the Date being the 17th where they could win the 17th Title in C's History.

AND the other is the Year 2008 where Employee #8 will be in the house to bear witness to something HE and Pierce desired from the first day they started playing alongside one another : Championship #17 for Boston.

(sure he's not wearing #8 these days but he's always going to be known as Employee #8 'cause THAT is his number here...no offense to Leon Powe, of course)

By the way, anyone remember this?

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/nba/02playoffs/2002-05-14-celtics-focus.htm

THIS is why I don't like ESPN when it says how the C's are "finally back" *this year* when the C's actual return to relevancy occured in '02...

Considering Leon wears #0, I doubt he'll take much offense  ;)
