Well since the team is currently stuck in LA I think we should sign Antoine Walker, Kenny Anderson, Tony Battie, Kedrick Brown, and Walter McCarty to play in place of our new regulars.

Haha.  Nicely done.  What's the game time on the west coast?  Shouldn't it start sometime around...

...6:17!
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

Even I didn't think of that, and I'm always freakishly eying new numerical omens.

TP for FL.

Sorry guys, I really hate to come back into this thread with a negative thought. But I just saw something on Celtics.com that made my smile level out to a straight face:

June 17, 1986 - Len Bias was drafted.

That's a good omen -- that was a great day for Boston.  The bad day is June 19, 1986, the day Len Bias died of an overdose.  In other words, the bad omen is if the Cs don't clinch in Game 6 and have to play a Game 7 two days later.

EDIT: In either case, what better way to pay homage to Len Bias, #34 at Maryland, I believe, than to have the Cs win on one of those two days, and to have the current #34, Paul Pierce, win a Finals MVP.  It would be a great way to close the book on a sad chapter in Celtics history, and open the book on a promising new chapter.
