They tightened the rims at half-time. There's a Celtics agent working undercovered in the Staples that took care of that.

I'm tellin' ya, that's how Perk REALLY hurt his shoulder. ::)

Roy, this whole topic is genius.  Evil + genius that is.  Way to go!

This is my new second favorite site (behind Celticsblog, of course): LakersGround.net

It's a Lakers fan forum, where you can find threads like:

"Kobe Bryant didn't show the will to not let his team lose when they Celtics made their comeback."

"Phil Jackson lost this game for us !!!!!!"

"Where/how/when did the Lakers go wrong?"

"I don't know who I'm more upset with ... the Lakers or the fans"

"As bad as I feel....Sasha feels like DUNG"

"Why does Pau play so [dang] SOFT ???"

Haha.  I know it's wrong to take joy in another fan base's misery, but I'm reveling in it.

I absolutely enjoy the trash talk with Lakers fans. They deserve all the taunting they can get.

I have no respect for them.

Calling Pierce a Faker and beating 10 on 1 on Celtics fans at Staples.

No respect whatsoever.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I think the fans are pinning to much blame on Kobe for what it's worth. The truth is the Lakers supporting cast isn't built like the C's. We have some great "winners" on this team. Guys that I just LOVE - real warriors. Guys like POWE, POSEY, HOUSE..

They have soft european players like Gasol and Sasha. They have untalented roleplayers like Luke Walton.. They have stars that are really just JAGs like Odom.

What makes Kobe a great role model is his response to a reporter's question on how to handle this loss " a few shots, a few beers tonight"---- great role model LA has over there.

Thanks for the link.  I loved reading the Lakers fan's comments.  It is amazing how little faith they have (or should I now say had at one time) in the Eastern conference.  I think the series comes down to the C's may be the best defense they have faced and the Lakers may be the worst defense Boston has faced.

The media's butt licking of the Lakers has officially ended.

  • The good ole days.
I'd post some of the text messages that went back and forth between myself and my best friend (big Lakers fan) early in the game, and then late in the game..... but they are not CelticsBlog appropriate...

These Faker fans have been talking smack even before the series began.  One Laker board even had a thread that quoted and ridiculed Celticsblog posts.  Guess whose team blew a 24-point lead and is down 3-1.
