I'm sure there is an old "Doc Rivers appreciation thread" on this site somewhere, but I thought it was time to add a new one / express that I have a growing appreciation for him.

Most people, including myself, have been critical of him in the past, but in retrospect, he is a very solid coach who seems to get all the blame without any praise.  In Orlando, he competed every night with minimal talent.  In the early years here, he developed young players, which led to the roster the C's have today.  And now, whatever happens this series, Doc has done well with a veteran team that people were unsure of entering the year.

I have also grown to like the fact that he always seems at ease and he seems to have a good report with his players.  He also earns brownie points for being a likable guy who appears family oriented.

Anyway, I'm glad Doc is our coach, and has been our coach for the past 4-5 years.
