Ping pong balls....

Sadly the draft was always one of the most important nights of the season, I'd try to block the night off, grab some snacks, a few beverages and watch it unfold - I remember when I started to realize Pierce could fall to us, I was going nuts, same thing with GG...wondering who Ben Pepper and Josip Cesar were, thinking, why did we draft Troy Bell, there must be a deal... its gonna be weird this year, but I'm sure I'll care about it still

Sometimes they played good basketball.  It's all about the game, right?  That's why we watch.  They also had individuals who played the right way, like EWill and DWest. Even with that horrible 1996 team, you could enjoy players like Rick Fox, David Wesley, Alton Lister and (of course) Frank Brickowski.

Yeah, more good guys in that group.  Especially Williams, I loved him both times he was with us.  He was really someone I could cheer for.

The same thing that always helps me stick with the Celtics or real life situations when things are going bad. HOPE!! And Danny Ainge delivered on my HOPE with his great trades and free agent signings since last year's lottery. I am 41 and way back in 1987 I never believed it would take 21 years to see the Celtics in The Finals again and this time the good guys will!!
