I had to stop 14 seconds into it, I couldn't take it any more.

Try this one instead.

The Syndrome known as the "Ear Worm" can be best cured by actually listening to the whole song the entire way through.
Much like the best thing for a hangover is more alcohol. (They say anyway I have never been able to look or even think about alcohol during a hangover.)
The result of the Ear Worm occurring is because there is something about the song that actually appeals to your psyche even though you may not care for it consciously. For instance it could be simple as a chord progression, a particular instrument or a melodic line, harmony, rhythm, anything really.

As far as the Anime thing I've heard some songs a thousand times over in the Japanese version and oddly enough when I heard the English version I had a hard time making it out or understanding it. Conditioning I guess.

"DREAMS" by van halen...kinda eerie but since the celts capped its season, it has been like a LSS for me...same way it affected me with the kerry campaign, unfortunately on a losing effort at that...
