Thanks for that, TP. I went through the list and highlighted our picks. Anybody read which of these players Celtics have even worked out?

My Dad's.  I'm quoting from a post I put on here a couple of weeks.  He's still on a long road trip with my Mom and I know it must be killing him to not be able to concentrate on the draft.

Ever since I can remember my father has been doing these things.  He updates them over the course of the year.  I'm by no means a draft guru, but it's a passion of my father's.  He has me load up his mock draft off a spreadsheet onto my web site so it can be viewed by those on his email list.  I just thought I'd share it with you all and see what you think of his prognostications.

I tried to doll up the "look" of it a bit, but I was working off his spreadsheet, so it ain't the prettiest looking thing, but the material's all there.

My Dad's a CB member "hardlyyardley" and posts on here from time to time, but he doesn't know I'm doing this.  Thought I'd give him a little Father's Day publicity!

Here's the link: http://www.thecapedcod.com/2008DRAFT.htm

If you want to get on his mailing list, let me know.  This is all for fun...
Yup

Mock Smock!  Can't tell anything by them.  If you follow drafts, you'll see this.  Look back at the NFL draft and who the Pundits said the Pat's were taken.  Oops, missed that big time.

I think Danny won't draft anyone.  I look for him to trade the pick for a player such as Deng or even maybe deal the pick for a first next year.

The needs of this team are obvious, backup PG and a replacement for Tony Allen.  I don't see anyone at the 30 spot who fit's either of those, unless you take Forbes (a bit early) from Umass.

As a restricted F.A., Deng can't be traded at this point in the year, besides all the other arguments against. Anyway, I'm pretty much just amusing myself. Though, I am bummed not to see Walker or Batum associated with the Celtics on any on these boards.

ps - I spoke to my Dad yesterday - he was having lunch in the Space Needle in Seattle! - and I told him I'd added his Mock Draft here.  He got a little antsy because a lot of info was now obsolete since he'd left for vacation.  I told him there was a "disclaimer" ;)

How did he enjoy the lunch?   I took my wife up there for her birthday a few years ago.

Chad Ford’s 6th mock draft is up, count him among those that think Orlando has cooled off on Courtney Lee. Also Hoopshype, Inside Hoops, and Hoopsworld have updates. First time I recall seeing either Richard Hendrix or Ryan Anderson show up on the Celtics' draft board.

I just made an NBA draft blog. I've been obsessed with the draft for the last few years, and around this time every year it starts to take over my life. I just wanted to make a blog so i could post some ideas that i have on the draft. It is still in its infant stages, but i think it has potential. Let me know what you think. Ill take any suggestions.
