I think its the best defense vs the best offense. East meets west. Atlantic vs Pacific. Green vs yellow. 16X champs vs 14X champs. Magic vs Bird. Russell vs Chamberlain. Jones vs Riley... and on and on...

Mike Gorman said it best. This series is about this year's Celtics vs this year's Lakers. I only hope it doesn't become about the officiating.

Man there are just so, so many.  This has to be one of the most intriguing NBA Finals in a long, long time.  I'm trying to think back to one that was just as intriguing.  I'm thinking maybe the passing of the torch in the 91 Series with Magic and MJ.
