KG killed us in that first quarter, he had pretty good looks but he didn't tkae his time on the shots down low and missed most of his jumpers. Glad to see Ray still looking good and Rondo played well despite missing a point blank layup.

Watch, the roles will switch.  Ray Allen will be the only one of the big 3 to show up and KG and Paul will have bad shooting nights haha.

So far, my thought seems to be right...I'm not gonna say Hamilton was faking it, but I think he greatly overexaggerated.  He looks fine out there.

BTW the all the WNBA commercials where they say "She wouldn't say that, Would you?" I can whole-heartedly say, "Yes, I would say that."

I love that women are able to have a pro league in the USA, but it's just not a viable product.

I'll watch it.  Have loved the women's college game.

That's cool, I don't begrudge anyone that like's it, but as a life long basketball fan, and NBA fan I have a hard time lowering my expectations for the WNBA. There's always a public outcry that men wont embrace the sport, I say, when women watch it, then they can complain about men not giving it any credit. Rant over.

Good first quarter, must keep up the pressure, get the ball to Ray, hit KG in the post, and KG set your feet, your shot will fall a lot easier.

[quote author=celticmaestro link=topic=18505.msg293444#msg293444 date=121219611}don't like kg missing his last 5 attempts, but i like our start we look focused. not all over the place like game 4.

Perhaps if KG were to put it on the floor and drive to the basket..

Would you pay money for it though?

True enough, my girlfriend and I are talking about paying to going to see Atlanta's WNBA team.  But I live about a mile from the Arena and get free parking next door . . . so yeah it's not anything like I'd go through what we went through to see the Celts here in town.

KG needs to set his feet on his jumper, it's why he is off so far.
Not too worried.  Nobody on that team (or any other) can bother his shot.  He'll find his rythm soon enough.

Right but the problem is, he's not hitting it when he's open.

Refs got that end-of-the-first quarter call right and I think the extra rest from two quarter breaks helps the Celts even more than taking the two points off the board.

Cassell's gotta make some of these shots.

Eddie would've made that.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Whose your pick, I am assuming Portugal by your sig. For some reason I have always had a love affair with the Netherlands, so I will always be partial to them.

Someone needs to give Rip a real injury to roll on the floor about.

As my dear friend Michael Jackson once said, "it doesn't matter if you're black or white."  Believe in the sleeve!!

Does anyone else feel like when Ray Allen is on fire we can beat anyone? What an X factor he is.
