Billups must have stumbled onto the floor about 5 times in this game with no one even touching him, it looked like he was on ice skates. I think he is no where near 100% and that is a very good thing. He cannot stay with Rondo

A shame he isnt 100% healthy, im quite sure if the team could chose they would like to play Detroit when they are at their best.

But if Flip does decide to put him on the court, Rondo has to be running around like Hamilton, making sure that the injury can be felt!

I thought Billups looked good out there in my opinion, health wise. If anything, I think his main problem tonight was mentally. Poor decisions, a bit unsure... but movement wise, he looked quite good.

Aside from looking fairly well physically, I thought he got a bit tired quickly... probably not in good game shape because of his days off.

If anything, Rondo should run Chauncey ragged. Push the tempo and make Chauncey slide his feet on D.

I don't think it's all injury. He is 32 now and he doesn't get the seperation he once did. He is still a great player just not at the elite level any more.

He is definitely nowhere near 100%.

Rondo could really exploit him on offense, and WHEN Ray gets going, the "Palace Guard" of Rip and Chauncey is going to be in a lot of trouble.

Thanks, Just trying to follow the Celtics lead of having a solid night.   ;D I'm so [dang] happy right now.  I'm sure the Pistons will show up in this series, but they sure looked more easily beatable than Cleveland did.  Fool's gold perhaps, but "if ignorance is bliss, then wipe the smile off my face."

No speculation needed.  Billups admits he's not 100%.   Read it in Detroit Bad Boys blog (from Chris McCosky of Detroit News):

Quote
“I’m feeling pretty good,” he said, “and for what’s not good I know once the adrenaline gets going and the excitement of the game, I will be fine.”

He was asked if he has regained full range of motion, could he do everything he could before the injury.

“Not everything, but I am good enough to play,” he said. “All I asked for when I got hurt was that I can get back to being good enough to play. As far as being the best that I can be, I don’t know if I can get to that. We only have another month or so left. But I wasn’t asking for that. I just want to be good enough to play and hopefully I can be productive.”

No brainer, then.

Exploit the weakness.  He didn't look right out there tonight so keep attacking on Thursday.
