Appreantly Vecsey believes Cheeks is trying to convince managment to bring in Randolph to the ahead of pace 76ers. This would give the 76ers the low post presents they were looking for and could catapult them into contention. (I read this in the Liberty city Post today)

Eh, Randolph is a 2 steps forward 2 steps backward aquisition... A Randolph team is never going to be a legit contender. NY would be wise to get rid of him though.

Well, I don't necessarily believe it, but it makes a lot of sense.

I actually think a trade of Randolph for Andre Miller and Willie Green would be good for both teams (maybe the Knicks could also throw in Temple Alum, Mardy Collins).

This allows the Sixers to hand the PG reigns over to Louis Williams (and they can bring in a veteran to back him up), and gives them one hell of a talented (and exciting) starting lineup with Williams, Young, Iguodala, Randolph, and Dalembert. Collins also still could end up being a decent compliment to Williams.

This would be especially good, because it would allow Iguodala become a true second option on offense, where he belongs.

For NY, it gives them some nice cap savings in Miller, so they can move closer to getting below the cap for Lebron, and it also helps to solidify their PG position for the next couple years.

Bad idea.

Philly was a team of hard workers over performing.

Randolph has never been accused of working hard or over performing.

I don't know if I agree with this.  Mo Cheeks is a very good coach, and Randolph played the best basketball of his career under him in Portland.  If you surround him with the right players, he can still turn things around.

IMO Zach Randolph is to a basketball team as cigarettes are to the lungs.

This makes no sense for Philly at all.
