About time they called that one .... Duncan just shoved Gasol off the floor to get that rebound before ... Timmy gets away with murder, man .... then whines and rolls his eyes every time they finally get fed up with him and blow the whistle!

Of course Bowen always has that ever-effective psychological advantage of being able to break your ankles or kick you in the face if he gets annoyed ... seems to have been quite successful with it in the past, and never an assault charge! (Only in America)

Lakers D has definitely stepped it up this quarter.

I don't think anyone should be hoping the Spurs take this series.  While I understand the logic and would LOVE to see KG get a ring head-to-head against Duncan and the Celtics team in general take down the champs . . . logic tells me to pull for LA.

San Antonio is probably the smartest and calmest team in the NBA.  They simply have a "been there, done that" attitude that allows them to play well at critical points in games/series.  I am confident we would have a good shot at winning either potential series (if we can get past Detroit) but I would take LA's suspect defense and KG vs. Gasol anyday over the San Antonio defense and the match up problems that series could create.

...As you say that Lakers come back from 20 point deficit on the Spurs

Where the heck is "Big-Shot" Bob?!? I would think he'd be huge against the Lakers, and would love to plant a dagger in their hearts! Pop should have him on the floor for the threat alone.

Bowen's uniform should be black-and-white stripes ... or orange!

Man ... what a turn-around for the Lakers ... this was looking like a blow-out in the third! Gotta love the playoffs!

Lakers got a homer-break there ... that should have been a foul for the Spurs, or at least Spurs' ball.

LOL I still stand by what I said . . . but of course it's just my opinion from watching the teams.  I am wondering if sleeping on the plane had an effect on their 2nd half performance/meltdown tonight.

Clutch shot by Kobe.  What an amazing second half from him.  One last shot for the Spurs here.

However you feel about Kobe, he defines "icewater-in-the-veins" ... amazing clutch shooter, and while I really don't like the guy, I love watching him perform when he's in a "groove" ... wow!

Looked to me like Spurs were fouled when trying to get the loose ball.

Yup ... Lakers definitely got some homer calls here at the end.
