You should already know by now the PA Announcer at the Palace is awful. If you dont already know you'll find out by Game 3. Please feel free to agree/disagree. Post things you hate he says here.

The guy that sits next to me at work is a Pistons fan, and he defends this crap to me all the time.

I can't stand it.  It's annoying.  It's something that if the fans did it, I'd think it was great.  But it's not the PA announcers place to get the crowd energized... either the players do that, or the fans just bring it themselves.

Hey, A little off topic, but am I crazy for going to Detroit saturday for game 3?  Considering I can get tix for 40 bucks, and get 3 other guys in on it... the gas + food won't be that expensive considering how much tix are on stubhub.

what do you think? would you do this?

The Shaq era in Orlando had the most under your skin pa guy I have ever heard. Do any of you remember this clown? Having a complete hatred for Shaq didn't help when he dunked the ball and this waste of skin yells something retarded out >:(

That Orlando guy was pretty awful.  Both Cleveland and Atlanta's PA guys were big on trying to rally the crowd coming out of timeouts with some "AND1 Tour" type calls.

Yea its pretty sad when the crowd can't even start their own "DE-FENSE" chants. i.e. the Atlanta P.A.
That was soo annoying
Also, when we got to the free throw line the guy would go ... "THUNDERRRRRRRRRRRR-STIX!"
