How Doc will determine rotation for Detroit series?

My guess is as good as yours.

LOL! Thanks again for another laugh, Redz ... this is perfect! (I'd give you a TP, but I just did ... I'll owe you one in an hour!)

The Celtics lost the 1st regular season game against Detroit because House could not advance the ball when Lindsey Hunter was pressing him. When Detroit tries that same tactic, I would think Sam-I-Am is the answer.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Sam is the answer to the following question:  Who should be buried at the end of the bench and see no minutes for the rest of the playoffs?

As to anything else, he's not the answer.

Other than the starters, I see Posey in at the 2/3, Brown as the first big off the bench, same as the pg and the rest in the unpredictable rotation. Then again, its Doc, he could play TA as the first guard off the bench and Scal as the first big off the bench.

Will Hunter even dress this series?  He was inactive in the Orlando series until Billups got hurt.  That may be because Flip wanted an extra big to contend with Howard though, they might plug him back in this series.

I think that Powe has a good chance to be big in this series off the bench.  Cleveland is long and that bothered Powe, but against Detroit, being matched up against Maxiell is much more in Powe's favor.  Maxiell is only 6'7'' and Powe should be able to have a favorable matchup against him.

I see Doc playing Baby and Powe in short stints to keep them fresh and always have an aggressor in the paint. I'd love to see a Tony Allen sighting for some quick hands and fast break opportunities.

On a side note, I think it's time TA lost the knee brace and trust the knee fully.

I'm hoping Ray shows up this series, but if things continue to look bleak for him, we're going to see Eddie and TA take some minutes.

Not that hoping for a Scally in white shorts sighting, but do the activation rules work the same for the playoffs as they do in the regular season?
Yup
