Still can't sleep after that Game 7 - cruising YouTube and started watching the clips of what is now Paul Pierce's
second best playoff game: Game 3, 2002 Conference Finals. Thought folks might enjoy these clips, they make up the entire 4th quarter. To refresh people's memories, the C's were down by up to 26 points in the game, and by 21 at the start of the 4th. Pierce was 2-14 from the field prior to this quarter.
After watching these, I have to say I am officially pumped...the conference finals cannot come quickly enough for me...

- Maybe Toine's greatest moment as a C - his pre-4th quarter rant in the huddle that got the entire team, and especially Paul, fired up. Also, a great in-game moment with his clutch block/partial strip of Van Horn in mid shot in the last minute.
- "Brought to you by Bacardi Silver: Your night just got more interesting." I think anyone who ever drank one or god forbid, more of those can attest to the truth of that slogan.
- Interview with Stern, first line: "Basketball is back in Boston". False start, 5 years.
- A stunningly low amount of flopping, ie basically none; there's only one charge I can think of, and it was clear-cut. Amazing how that's proliferated since.
- And of course, the greatest 4th quarter comeback in NBA playoff history, led by 19 points in the quarter by the only remaining member of the team, the Captain, Paul Pierce. Enjoy!
