It seems they can't hit out side shots anymore.  To many clean shots, missing.

Rondo should have had 3,4 more assist tonight if guys hit their shots.

Is it tired legs?  Loss of confidence?

I don't think its anything that needs a lot of adjusting, Pierce and Rondo need to go to the hole and if they cant get to the rim they need to dish it out to the outsider shooters, they have suddenly fallen in love with 20 ft jumpers these last few games when the entire year they've driven, made the extra pass, and given their shooters good looks from the outside

But even guys like Ray and Posey are now missing shots that they nailed during the regular season.

It's loss of rhythm and comfort.

C's are getting bumped, held, muscled, slapped, tugged, arm-flipped, etc. and not getting the proper calls. They don't get to the line to establish a rhythm like the other team.

So it's very understandable that when they do take jumpers they feel uncomfortable as the rim looks smaller (especially on the road) and it's basically the only way they can score.

We all know that if you are forced to score by only one means on the jump shot then you live and die by it.

It's very obvious the refs in the last 2 or 3 games are forcing the C's to stay outside of the paint....it's not fear of being blocked that prevents C's to drive.

It's fear of no proper calls when they get fouled and expend lots of energy to get to the rim and then receive contact on top of that with nothing to show for it.

The reason the C's are playing a bit timid and hesitant on offense (on the road) is because the refs put a strap on the C's....that is the only logical reason and it started in the Atlanta series to make a "snooze" 1st round series more exciting - stretch it to 7 games and they will watch or some crap like that.

There is no other reason the C's play this way on the road...even when we signed Sam and put him in the rotation he helped us win on the road so don't blame Sam and his "selfish" shots.

This team is too good to not be able to win on the road...we have an entire season to judge from that.

Pierce and Ray are struggling. They shot 39% and 40% resepectively from downtown during the season, compared to 34% and 32% from three in the postseason. They took about 55% of the team's three pointers (10.8 out of 19.1 attempts) per night during the regular season ... so when they struggle the team struggles from the perimeter.

Once you go past them the team becomes very reliant on it's other shooters. They need every one of those other shooters to perform very well ... and well, Eddie House isn't playing. So now you got Posey and Cassell who isn't a top outside threat (33% for his career, 30% for the season).

The three point shooting went the minute Ray and Pierce stopping shooting well. Then the team ended up in a deeper hole because of the lack of House.

In Posey's defense,i have noticed his shots are coming from spots that i rarely seen him shoot from in the regular season...for some reason,he is shooting a bit quicker also.Could be the Cavs D is running at him faster, than most teams have in the past?
