He was a major part of the defense that kept Cleveland to 74 points on 33% shooting.

Now if the offense had pulled it's weight, Celtics win.

(entire team was God awful on the boards)

I don't get the hostility towards Perkins.  He's the last starter people talk about when discussing this team, yet he anchors the defense.  He's giving up a lot of height to a player he's always had trouble defending in Big Z.  He almost never gets the ball in the flow of the offense with the expectation of him shooting, and Rivers is bouncing him around, minute-wise.  Going after him just doesn't make sense to me.

When people are free to do as they please, they usually imitate each other.

Bad stats.

Especially the rebounds on a night where rebounds killed the Celtics.

I don't get it either, he's not forcing shots, he's moving the ball around well, and he's helping on defense every trip down, mainly on lebron.

donny made a comment about him not going up with it when he passed to KG who then traveled. I'm sorry, he found KG 6 feet from the hoop and it's perks fault he traveled?
Take it to the hole, there's a dance involved

Getting his 8th foul called on him.

Oh my God, the refereeing was awful, I don't need Scottish to tell me that.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

That was a good pass.  KG just needs to shot without shuffling his feet.

Perkins didn't have a clear lane at that point.  He would of have to gone over a large defender.  Better to give a close shot to KG.

Rebounding is a problem.  Of course playing so far out on defense and getting called for fouls trying to rebound (something they did only to Celtic players) didn't help in that department.
