For my AP statistics final I need to do a study and get over 100 responses.

I choose to do mine on who else but brian scalabrine.

I need all you celtics fans to help me out and rate him as a basketball player on a 1 to 10 scale.

Thank you for your help.

I'm going to edit this into a poll to make your stat gathering a little easier.

You should distinguish Scal's basketball rating as an "NBA Player" though, because the rating would have to be a 10 if we are judging solely on his general basketball ability.  See what I mean? Presumably anyone in the NBA is in highest percentile of basketball ability.
Yup

Not to get all stats dork/professory on you, but it will probably help your project if you had:

- a more clearly defined question (are we rating him relative to people in general?  relative to other NBA players?  Relative to other Celtics?)

- clearly defined anchor points - different people will have different ideas about what a "1" or a "5" means to them.  Does 1 mean "the worst player in the world" or just "A very bad player"?  Does 10 mean "excellent" or "better than Jordan and completely perfect in all ways"?  Does 5 mean "exactly average" or "decent"?

I know this is just an AP-level project but it'll sharpen up your study and possibly your grade if you're more explicit about this stuff.

With the amount of time we spend on here, do you really think it would have helped?

Great...now can we have a separate rating for tangibles and intangibles?   ;D

Just kidding, thanks for clearing it up scal, good luck with your project

Would you even need to gather data for intangibles?  The answer could only be one thing:

Yup

RealGM.com has a fairly active Celtics board.  There is also a link on the left hand side of this page to "other Celtics blogs".  Many of them have forums.
