Ray goes off THE DEEP END tonight

Horrible shot with 14 secs on the shot clock - off balance three with hands in your face?
Yup

Sadly, Ray has been one of the worst players on the court tonight for the Celtics. :'(

ray is completely forcing it . . . he should shoot open looks off screens, instead hes jacking off balance threes and dribbling off his own feet

Ray averaged 24ppg against Cleveland in the regular season. 50+% from the field, I think it was 60% from three. Wow ....

Ray has killed Cleveland for years dating back through his Seattle years to Milwaukee years.

What a wierd performance from Ray-Ray. I was expecting him to step up beyond his numbers on the season against Cleveland. Just wierd.

Too bad Ray never learned to use his body to draw fouls taking it to the hole. He is such a great foul shooter, it seems like it goes to waste.

The only good thing about Ray is that getting him convinced KG to come too.

Wow, Ray has been pretty bad.  It's sad actually. :(

I've been waiting for the breakout game as well.  IF it happens I see it happening at home and not anywhere on the road.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

  • You know my methods, Watson.
we're running out of adjectives to describe ray's game... :-\

it's truly a shame.

Ray Allen has been soild in this series except game 1 of course:

  • Game 1: 0 Points
  • Game 2: 16 Points
  • Game 3: 10 Points
  • Game 4: 15 Points
  • Game 5: 11 Points

I sense he is going to have a BIG night tonight... look for 25+ from Ray.

Shouldn't the title of this thread be "Ray will be/is off tonight"

I wonder why we don't replace Ray with TA..... both are very prone to turnovers and mishandling the ball.... at least TA will give you better defense.....

Ray is one of my favorite players, but I think his career is over..... they said his stats dropped because he is deferring to the other two, but I've noticed that he misses way too many open 3's......
he's actually deferring to age and arthritis......
