I like all the Celtics players, but we're seriously missing that type of player who can put a team away (like Kobe, Lebron, or the best ever Larry Bird).  Posey's not bad, but he can't get his own shot, and Cassell used to be a clutch player but he's too old.

Sam was the only one actually getting the shots he likes and he choked em up.  Sam's got to hit those.  Very frustrating

Sam shouldn't be playing minutes on the road.
He has been terrible in the playoffs on the road.

Don't sell the farm quite yet.  They're clearly slumping but are still tied in a series against the defending East champs.  Not to mention Boston has home court.  There's plenty of time to turn things around - as we all know they are capable of.

paul is that player...he has always been that player but his game suffers when kev and ray has to touch the ball first...he plays better with the bench...last year we were the worst but we beat the spurs and lakers cause of paul...give the team back to paul..make kev our center start powe house paul and rondo..this put kev in the post which also makes the other team double him which etc etc.....

we're not giving up...we're just questioning the heart of this team to FINISH out games on the road.

sorry if that makes us bad people, but following each game there is indeed a story line to tell...

the celtics have made that a pretty easy one to write, wouldn't you agree?

they don't look like a championship team right now...

Not me Nora!  I'm frustrated, but I still like our chances better than their's and I'll be just as confident in them winning a Game 6 on the road as I've been for every other road game so far.  I expect them to win.
Yup

well, ray is choking...KG was settling for fadeaway jumpers...Paul was the invisible man...

we stole game 1...lest we not forget we're lucky to not be down 3-1 in this series.  we don't look like a team ready to win a title.

Im not a Negative Nancy like some here, but i totally see their point.  Maybe every team has thrown up a stinker in the play-offs, but of the teams still alive we have laid the most duds and buckled under the pressure more often.

another game with the 3-4-5 slots slowed down due fatigue. The result-- no motion and no boards -- from fatigue!
10 guys including L Powe, T Allen and G Davis got the C's 66 W's and they've disappeared - with few exceptions -- form the playoffs.
Fatigue due to fewer rotations is the bid factor!

howie - wonder if that intense practice they had the other day tired them down?
