I can't start analyzing a future potential matchup that may or may mot happen. Next thread.

I think I will worry about Cleveland right now, but at the same time, I would love to go to the ECF as the underdog, as this team has always responded well to the naysayers.

unbiased observer looking on at potential finals matchup.

I think the matchups all over the court favor the pistons. Celts dont have an answer for billups, ray allen wont be able to keep up with hamilton, prince is too long for pierce. 1 advantage i see is KG on rasheed. bench id give you guys an edge. id take pistons in 7 though.
Don't underestimate the "Truth"... i have a lot of respect for Prince too,but i don't think he will hurt Paul the way you are thinking.

In the past, Prince has played Pierce really well, better than anyone outside of Artest. But this year, Pierce has schooled him. We'll see what happens in the next round, if the Cs get there.

I'm with the "lets get there first" bunch, BUT! no way Prince wins head to head vs. Pierce. Not in a gazillion years. I don't know where people got the idea that Prince can stop pierce because that's just BS.

There's only one player in the league that I think can stop Pierce and thats Luol Deng. Don't why, but it's true Deng gives Pierce fits. The best I've seen anyone else do is make him work for his points. The most Deng will do is make Pierce work for his points, and if Pierce doesn't get his buckets neither will prince.

i find it hard to belive a "unbiased observer" registered just to post a 100% pro-pistons rant....

that aside, I'm all set with talking about that matchup when were only up 2-1. Got to finsh off bron bron first.

Pierce has had good/great games against Artest and Lebron. I don't think I've ever seen Pierce have a good scoring game against Deng, other than that 1 game this year.
