I'm slow, 5'11", can shoot (midrange mostly), can't rebound, great defender, low stamina, can make plays.

At short physically weak, but at other things I'm pretty good.

And that makes me like...who?

Tony Allen?

My friends says my game is similar to a healthy Dwayne Wade. I can play the point, shooting guard, or small forward. I've been known for my passing abilities and my quickness on the court. An above average rebounder for my size (6'3). Not a very good shooter, though.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

I'm 6-2 and don't stray from the lane...Leon Powe, but he is disproportionately better at taking charges then I am. Him being an NBA player notwithstanding, I'll also do some dirty work down low, have decent touch around the basket, and will defend tough if not always picture perfect. This is almost a joke though, I really should respond with Scal, citing tremendous basketball IQ with limited skill. Good thread... interesting to think about
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

i'm 6'1" and pretty skinny. people say that i am quick and am a pretty good defender. For some reason even if i am having a terrible day the other team puts their best defender on me. i am a very streaky scorer and when i get hot i hit almost every shot, not matter how crazy. but if my shot isn't falling i end up disappearing on offence. i am an above average rebounder for my size bacause i am always moving. i shoot a lot of jumpshots but have trouble getting to the rim because i am not that strong. who am i?

I'm 6 feet tall, (or 5' 12" in NBA terminology), and have played point guard on every team I was on, except shooting guard in Jr. High. I was a decent player at my "peak", (that one hurt), and was All-New England at my Prep School. However, to be completely honest, if I played anywhere near like the "Who"'s listed here, I wouldn't be sitting here in my office at my PC typing this ... I'd be retired and sitting on the beach in front of my home in Tahiti, typing this on my lap-top, being fanned gently by a Polynesian beauty, and sipping on a blue Margarita! (I feel much better now!)

i'd say i play most like Paul Pierce, my game is based around getting to the hoop using an array of fakes and changes of speed/direction and my midrange fall-away is my fallback move, once i hit one i can normally reel off a few in a row. My defense is good when I put in the effort, which isn't 100% of the time cause I use up a lot of energy on offense.

In my prime, maybe Sherman Douglas. Since I'm not fully recovered from knee surgery, I'd say I play more like Sherman Helmsley, now.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Yeah I'm 5'9 and can't jump and I am very slow.  I don't play like anyone in the NBA because they are world class basketball players.  That being said I'd have to say I am closest to the worst player in the league, Brian Scalabrine.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

J.J. Reddick. I try to play D, but I'm slow. My shooting percentage goes up the further I am from the basket. Can't hit a lay up to save my life, but I bet I shot over 50% behind the 3 point line. Since I'm in my 50's I play in an old man's league and I get a real kick out of it when I get the ball outside the line and the other team is yelling "shooter". Who would have ever thought?

Good one Chief!  Sadly I'm probably more on the Weezy playing level at this point.

Yup

I not only look but play like Brain Scalabrine.

I'm 5-10 now and in Jr High I played power forward. (We were on the small side)

To bring back an old post I made several months ago:

I was over at my parents watching a Celtics game and my sister came in also.

She said, "Who is that redheaded man out there?"

Daddy said, "That's Brian Scalabrine, Looks like your brother don't it?

"Yeah"

Then daddy said rather frustratingly, "He plays about like him too!"

Oh well. Now people will understand why I'm quick to defend Scal as I'm living my dream through him. And seeing the role he's been giving it's not quite unrealistic.

A White Antione Walker might be a good description for me too.
