  • You know my methods, Watson.
jim paxson...loved that guy.  when he became a celtic i was ecstatic.  moves without the ball, and though he's not the fastest guy on two wheels, can get by people occasionally and has a consistent jumper.

plus, i thought he had a nice hairdo...

I'm a combination of Shaq with Mark Price and a little Fred Roberts for good measure.

I'd say a short Ryan Gomes that everyone wants and expects to play point guard cause of shortness. I'd like to think of myself as a Delonte type, cause I try to play hard D and do dirty work like rebounding, but I can't pass or create that well, so I end up being kinda like Tony Allen at point.  i try to do a lot of thinking and not make mistakes, so who is a point guard who has modest shooting ability and dirty work ability who has stuck in the league a long time by being a decent backup? Or that you'd have thought would have stuck. Jasikevicus minus the good outside shot? Steve Blake? Anthony Carter when healthy? Chris Duhon? Jameer Nelson?

IMHO there are way too many good players/superstars on this list.

Gilbert?
Shaq?
Rondo?

Here's the truth....I model my game after none other than Adonal Foyle!

That's right, Adonal Foyle!

In my prime I might have been Joe Smith...

I used to have the smooth stroke of Sam Perkins, but that faded away about 5 years ago and now i'm just a pass-first power forward. I watched 81 of the 82 C's games this year (missed our loss to Orlando >:( ) and have started to pick a lot of stuff up from KG. Not that i play like KG AT ALL, but his passing, his showing of the ball, and his shoulder dip/dream shake are all things I try and emulate.

My game probably most resembles that of Shawn Marion.  I'm a good defender and a good rebounder for my size, and I can get hot from the outside.  I'm also pretty fast and have good hops (5'10" and can grab the rim).  On the downside, my ball handling is awful, so I can't really create my own shot.  Another similarity I share with Marion is that I almost always guard someone significantly bigger than me.

Me too. It happens to me almost every game. I am almost always guarding and guarded by someone about 2 inches taller. You just learn to play up. But then a funny thing happens. Everyone once in a long while I get guarded by someone smaller or I find myself approximately equal to the tallest guys on the court. When that happens I can move to a center type position and just beat the hell out of whoever is guarding me with a surprising post up game from posting on my little brothers and their friends for so many years till they were bigger than me

Sounds like you could learn a lot from Leon/BBD  ;D

NBA Comparison: Steve Hamer

But shorter, and with a bad knee. Unless that's redundant.

Let's see- slow, no moves, no shot, no elevation, moderate hustle. I guess no one. Of course, I'm in my fifties, so maybe Antoine. Sorry, couldn't help myself, don't get upset guys, it was just a joke.

How about Rick Barry, because when I played, you could still take underhand foul shots, even though it was pretty dorky even then.  Seriously though, some of the really bad foul shooters in the NBA  ought to try underhand, but I suppose it would take some serious guts to be the only one doing it.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I'm slow, 5'11", can shoot (midrange mostly), can't rebound, great defender, low stamina, can make plays.

At short physically weak, but at other things I'm pretty good.

And that makes me like...who?
