Only complaint tonight, why all the empty seats? The game might be out of reach, but how can you leave a playoff game early? The bandwagoners with the expensive tickets must have somewhere more important to be.

My sentiments exactly! When I go to a C's game they practically have to shut out the lights and push me out the door!! Come on fans show some Celtic Pride, the team deserves a standing O at the buzzer!!!

PP's FT shooting has been shaky throughout the playoffs.  Thats another thing that got me nervous.

i maintain its hold over from that strained lower back, if you watch him, he pulls out of that crouch as fast as he can, its throwing off his release.

This would also explain for why he's money on the second, he notices it and corrects it.

Championship level hoops by the boys tonight.  First time this playoffs we've really seen the full capacity of this team.  This is the stuff that got us all excited about the prospects.

Beautiful!

Doc did a great job tonight. He changed up the timing off his substitutions in the first quarter, trusted his bench and allowed them to do their thing and get this team back in the game. I loved how he left Sam Cassell in instead of going back to Rondo.

I loved how he went to Ray to start the game and then went right back to Ray Allen to start the third quarter. That really helped him get going.

Absa-tively/  Perfect night for Doc as well.  Doc did an awesome job of leaving the hot hands in (even extending them past their usual minutes) Sticking with Powe for 28 minutes was huge.  Classic Leon tonight.

very satisfying win.

let's see how things go in cleveland now - the cavs & fans will be planning an ambush for the Celts.

the Celts were so up & down in the atlanta series and had to get jacked way up again for game 7 - i was worried they night come out a little flat ofr one of these home games vs cleveland. fortunately they brought the defensive focus to both games. i like the way they played with a quiet determination and concentration on execution.

here's hoping the Celt's are growing into a steady, focused playoff rhythym that will continue in cleveland.

Who says you can't defend LeBron?!? I think we showed quite effectively that it CAN be done. And all the stuff that Ernie, Chuck, Kenny, and C-Webb said about Cleveland's bench being so much better than ours .... sorry, boys, but you got THAT one wrong, too! Think we'll get a change of heart or an apology? Nope ... they'll just find a couple of new things to bash us with. No agenda? Yeah ... right!

lol...this thread brings back memories.

I was deployed back then...we were in Guam, or about to pull into Guam...I remember going back and forth and talking trash with some Detroit fan...this guy thought that DET was going to push BOS around.

Love this team...more memories to come this season, too...tonight included. :)
