I started a thread just like this after game 6 of the Atlanta series telling KG to step up.  It seemed to work so I figured I'd to the same for Ray. ;D

He does need to step up though.  To get outplayed by Wally was embarrassing! >:(

Hopefully it works!

Hehe, and here I was about to go ballistic for someone starting a thread about the same crap of Ray when we've had like 5 of them created recently basically discussing the same crap.

Sorry about that.  I know there are other threads about Ray, but I just wanted to do the same thing I did for KG for good luck since it seemed to work.  Not that I'm superstitious or anything. ;)

Bankshot,i agree with what you are trying to do,Help Ray Allen,at the same time i always figured this, when we first got the Big 3,not every night, all three will shoot well each and every night. There is only 1 ball to go around,KG had it going early,so most of the plays went through him.If KG had been off last night, and Ray hitting his shots, who do you think the bad threads would be about? So,i am not going to panic about Ray or Paul yet. When i think back, there were similar threads, some even said we made a big mistakes in bringing Ray to Boston, and a few games later, when he torched a few teams, and won a game or two in the clutch, the threads were celebrating him.

FYI, the only reason this isn't being merged is out of deference to your superstition. ;)

I'm hoping people keep most of their comments re: Ray confined to one of the other threads.

  • LETS DO IT AGAIN!
Hey Ray! Thanks!

0-4 and he has to step up?

Lebron needs to step up, not Ray Allen.
Ray didn't force the issue by taking horrible shots or making alot of turnovers.
He played with the flow.
Should he have yelled at his team to get him the ball and get out of his way?
No, he kept quiet and didnt show 1 once of frustration.
Paul took alot of shots and forced the issue not Ray.

TP for Greeny's post....yeah, Ray went scoreless game 1, but it was 0-4, not 0-12.....he wasnt getting oppurtunities to shoot, and instead of forcing it, he went with the flow.....he COULD be a little more aggressive, and I think he was last night  in second half....Im not worried about a solid All Star Vet like Jesus Shuttlesworth after he missed 4 shots in a game.....
