Hornets are only shooting 39% late in the first half..although,D.West is keeping them close.

That was a great pass by Horry.

Good game so far, both teams hustling but neither is at the top of their game. Spurs shooting from downtown has been brilliant. West has led the charge for New Orleans and has barely missed this half.

Duncan has 10 boards already. He's controlling the paint. He's stopped at least 4 layups tonight also.

Paul stripped Parker, but missed a lay up,but fouled by Horry. The game is close with 1:10sec.to go in the half... D.West just hit his 22pts ,to tie the  game.

Great first half, very hard fought defensively,by both teams.Half ended 47-44 Spurs, with D.West 10 of 14 shooting with 22pts.CP3 has 6pts,8assist at the half for the Hornets.Duncan controlled the boards pretty good in the first half with Ginoblli,Parker doing most of the scoring for the Spurs .T.Chandler spent a great deal of time on the bench in the 2nd qtr.with a couple fouls.

I fear that for New Orleans the magic has run out, I think the Spurs will win in six. The Hornets are the one team left in the playoffs, that I see the Celtics not having a tough time with.

Detroit is the team I think the Celtics would have an easiest time with and by a very big margin.

D.West opens up the third with a nice jumper, followed by a slam on the other end by Duncan.

Really? I'm surprised, there's so much experience on that team and a lot of balanced players that play well in big games. Is it the lack of a true star?

Yes that's (lack of a star) a big factor. Another is that by and large I think we match up very well with them. Another is that I think they're weak and there for the taking, they've been weak for three years now.

All four teams in the West are championship caliber teams. I don't think Detroit are. I don't think they can win, that's the bottom line.

Hornets have picked up their intensity early in the third...Spurs are down by 6pts.CP3 just hit a short J in the lane.
