Kind of makes me wish we still had Al... at least he wasn't a **** like KG.

C'mon, now...really?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what it is that the set of asterisks might stand for, but isn't it a heck of a snap judgment to be throwing a man who has by and large been a franchise savior under the bus after two losses?

Admittedly, lon3lytoaster, I don't recall what your stance has been on this topic all year -- so if you've been an ardent opponent of the KG trade from the start, perhaps that changes things just the slightest bit.  But even so, I'm still a bit stunned to see that sort of thought about KG -- as well as the concept of even comparing him to Al.

Are you trying to compare the teams the Red Soxs faced with the Hawks?

No, I'm comparing the hopeless feeling we all had after the 19-8 loss to the Yanks, and the 3 straight losses to the tribe, to how we feel now.  Teams can turn things around.  Everyone seems to be discounting the fact that the C's are now 68-18 this year.  They will turn things around!
