Funny thing is that Jay-Z rapped over somebody elses beat.  The beat is from another song by Too Short or w/e.

has anyone cared about a hip hop beef since jay/nas?

esoteric/weathermen? maybe.

feuds like these seem like sissy fights. if only artists would spend more time focused on making a quality product that people could actually sink their teeth into.

i haven't been excited about a hip hop album since brother ali dropped his, over a year ago. common's last one was alright, the new roots is on point, but Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.n hip hop is dying.

Pointless beefs aside (we all know that LeBron is going to win just because it's LeBron), Hit 'em up is definately the best of all time.
Yeah, Hip-Hop has been gone. The only thing recently that got me somewhat hyped was the new Wu-Tang joint and it wasn't too bad, but the internal beef just broke it. There is some nice stuff on the album, but a lot of stuff that makes no sense and destroys it. And don't get me started on the music videos.
Guess I'll just go back to Straight outta Compton, Illmatic, Liquid Swords and Only Built for Cuban Linx for a while longer...
