Sorry I haven't been on to start these the last two days.  I am out of town.

Pistons lost again?    ;D ;D ;D

They are so full of themselves no that they are overlooking teams.

Not a problem, Wdleehi ... figured it was something like that. There are always many here happy to help out. Thanks for allowing me the latitude to fill in. Got it right about the Pistons, and I'm lovin' it, too! (TP) Not really superstitious, but the pattern that's been developing in other series is beginning to trouble me, (just a bit).

And before I get reemed...
I agree with the hack a shaq as a coaching decision, I just think it ruins the game.

Yeah ... I agree. I would like to see the Suns win tonight ... stretch the series out. And despite the bashing I get whenever I say so, Shaq is one of my favorite "non-Celtics" ... always has been, but he sealed it by naming Pierce "The Truth".

Kerr has destroyed this team.  Their coach was perfect for he up and down team they used to be.

Now they are a half court team with no defense.

Thomas losing it.

Bad call though.

They are really trying to help the Suns now.  They do not want the best ist round matchup being less then 6 games.

I agree with liking Shaq. I always end up pulling for him, and I'm not a hundred percent I know why.

I'll reserve my thoughts on Kerr until I see what he does this off season. No question they could use some improvements, I'd like to see if he can land anyone.

Kerr had a tough job to start with.  He had to cut salary.  Gave up Thomas without having a good, cheaper replacement.

But he compounded it by adding Shaq, turning the Suns into a half court team, but still no defense.

Van Gundy: 'Javy is a good ref on the road.'  I didn't know he had a home court

This "hack-a-Shaq" stuff is lame  ... gives me the same feeling as excessive flopping. Just makes the game seem less "pure" somehow, and creates a lack of momentum for both teams. Interesting first half ... hope the Suns look a little better in the second.

Again, I think it's fair to give Kerr another season with this Shaq trade. If NOTHING else he's a great body to run picks around, if they had one more good, perimeter player I think they could compete. Who that player is, I haven't the least idea.

But I agree with the thought; keeping Marion was a bad thing. They wouldn't win this year, and then they would've lost him to free agency. Unfortunately Shaq might not've been the right replacement. But again, I still think it could work.

perhaps he's a good ref for road teams? ;)

I think Kerr hasn't done much wrong. They had to lose Marion, and it took balls to try out something new with a 'washed-up player'. And hey, they've been competitive to different teams in the second half. Earlier on they beat some teams while lost to others (most of the ones they lost to were playoff bound). Now it's the other way around, which is probably a good thing.

So, who on Phoenix can step up and take this team over?

Parker has 23 and 9 now. Pretty incredible performance.

It has to be Nash right? By default?

Amare can weather the storm with scoring but I don't think he can create and lead the storm.

Grant Hill could change things but he still seems injured. Shaq's a bit too old for a prolonged stretch but he could lead a mini-run like he did in San Antonio earlier in the season.
