The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired the 39th overall draft pick in the 2018 NBA Draft from the Philadelphia 76ers.
The 76ers had acquired the pick from the New York Knicks.
The Lakers will send the Chicago Bulls' 2019 second round pick to the 76ers.
Los Angeles now owns picks 25, 39 and 47 in Thursday's draft. The Lakers' own first round pick belongs to the 76ers at No. 10.

I could imagine the Lakers drafting the 2nd Ball kid and saying to LaVarr "We're putting him in the G league. If you make a peep of any kind we're cutting him and benching your other kid. If you behave we will consider drafting the last boy later."
Kinda hold the kid totally ransom.

Good return considering 38, 39, 46, 48, 52 were all traded for cash considerations last year

Two of those were Sixers picks. This season the Sixers get a good 2nd rounder and cash too. Coach Brown as GM >> Colangelo
