Title: ECF Game 3 MVP Poll: CLE 116 BOS 86
Post by: Redz on May 20, 2018, 12:43:14 AM
Not much right happening in Game 3.  Crazy shooting and intensified D by the Cavs had the Celts all out of whack.  I felt like the Celts at least got the offense in order a bit in the second quarter, but they just could not make stops and seemed to never get a make after a Cavs miss.  On to Game 4.

Hard to scrape up votes in this one.  I'll give 2 for Tatum and 1 for Monroe.  A whole lot of hot garbage to go around.

Here are results from the first two games.  I think it's a pretty accurate portrayal of the players' values so far.

The link will take you to a google spreadsheet for details.

I gave my vote to -- nobody.  Nobody deserved an MVP rating for this game.  At least not on the Celtics side of the floor.  We came out completely flat, but I feel we will play much better in game 4.  Good to get that blowout loss out of the way.

Pro-Cavs mediots will beat their chests and say, see, told you so!  Cavs in 6!!

Well...This will certainly skew my results spreadsheet!  I had weighted the results to give double scores for wins, but the lack of votes and/or players worthy of merit are definitely going to throw off the balance of the results even with less weight added to them.  Such is the problem with a small sample size I guess.  Everyone loves a winner.

Still time to tack on those Shane Larkin votes.
