I think this guy is massively underutilized in Toronto. He’s easily starting caliber.

I don't think the Raptors will give him up.
Ibaka looks cooked and Valanciunas is expensive and doesn't have value. Even if they blow it up I think they hold onto Poeltl.
I really like him too, he's going to be a really good player. I am thinking he could become a Steven Adams level player (in different ways but similar level)
If they roll it back or blow it up I think he's in their future plans.

It's the same deal with Pascal Siakam, imo, but add Dwane Casey to the long list of NBA coaches who simply have no idea as to how to properly utilize true big guys.
That said, if we had wanted to trade for Poeltl the Turtle ;D we should have done so two years ago on draft night, imo. Oh well. Sigh.

When the Celtics played him, they switched to have him guard the perimeter and then blew right past him consistently. I haven't watched much else of him.
