Matt Ryan is a decent QB, but he isn't worth anywhere close to $30M/yr. There's a pretty good chance he never even gets back to the Super Bowl. This will end up really hurting the Falcons.

It does illustrate, though, the fact that there are only a handful of quarterbacks who are even decent. QB is probably the toughest position in all of the four major North American sports to find a stud player.

Aaron Rodgers is going to top that soon at around 35-40M I imagine.

Meanwhile GOAT Brady is making like 15M for next year (LOL).
