54th straight win, when holding opponents under 99 points

22nd straight win, when out rebounding the other team

Thanks,

I think it just shows that although the NBA has become more and more about the ‘amazing’ play, it’s still a league where defence and rebounding wins championships.

No rebounds, no rings.

No rebounds, no rings.

There's no coincidence that the player with the most rings (Bill) had a game that was predicated on those two ideals (rebounds, defence)

It is not Magic. It is becoming the core competency of this team. I might add Rebounds and Turnover differential. Steals usually lead to breakout opportunities for transition baskets that have always been the hall mark of the best Celtics teams over the last 50 years I have followed them.
