Brad on whether Dennis Smith Jr. was "in the conversation" for the Celtics with the #3 pick..."Sure. That's why we had him in. This class was so deep, so many good players, it was going to be hard to choose one.  It came back to the idea of Jayson and Jaylen growing together."

And it already looks like they nailed that one. Already, the chemistry is potent between those two, with their different skillsets. Love the blocks, the steals, the feel for the game, the grown-man defense, great hands and reflexes, the outstanding dedication.

 As impressive as the rebounding of Jayson Tatum as a rookie, Jaylen as a volume rebounder recently has been a very positive sign.

This rookie class isn't even 20 games into their careers.
