Reading his scouting report is almost like reading a report of IT... Stevens made 3rd string back up short guy into 5th league mvp finalist. Can Stevens do it again with Larkin? Maybe not all star but solid rotation guy?
I feel like Larkin has been overlooked simply because his size and length. The new nba forgives short guys if they can ball and shoot... And we have capable coaches to bring the best out of em. I'm cautiously excited to see if Larkin can break into the rotation at the very least

We have Irving, Smart and Rozier, who is be going to take minutes from?

Larkin hasn't been overlooked. He has gotten chances in the NBA and he washed out because he couldn't score efficiently and wasn't able to defend anybody.

Nope.
He's a warm body. I think that's about it.

Judging from how much we paid to bring him over, I expect he should take a fair share of opportunities early in the season.
