A certain 6th man with 8 championships and who is arguably the 2nd greatest SG over Bobe Kryant is staring at him.

Jamal Crawford says hello Jason.

I would take Bill Walton in 86 or McHale in the early eighties over these guys. Also, Hondo when he was in that role.

He has no idea what he's talking about.
It's weird to say that about a long time NBA player regarding players from the NBA, but seriously. No concept of teams he didn't play for or other eras. In short, an ignorant fool.
The conversation about champions rightly starts with Russ' 11 and goes from there.
Best 6th man starts with Hondo. And Jason frigg n Terry couldn't carry his water bottle.
We might exclude McHale on account of playing most of his career as a starter.
I'll take Ginobli over Terry even in his own era, though. That's the discussion there, JT vs Manu. And just count the rings, IMO.

This is the worst team message board for this to be posted on because of their being at least 3 6th men with a stronger case than him.
That said, he was the 2nd best player on the 2011 Champion Mavericks while coming off the bench. Terry has a legitimate case at being one of the best 6th men of the last 30 years. Other than Andre Igoudala (and only in the 2015 Finals not throughout the playoff run), how many other 6th men can claim to be the 2nd best player on a contender let alone a Champion?

I would say Manu is the goat 6 man of the 2000-present era.

I think that's right.
Manu never played enough minutes to put up gaudy numbers, and maybe he wouldn't have held up as long if he played 35mpg, but his per-minute production was off the charts at his peak.
